President Elect

  • Dona Davidson

Oklahoma State University-Tulsa – OSU-Tulsa Library Public Services and Electronic Resources Librarian

Dona has served in various committees and on the boards of several organizations including OK-ACRL, COIL, the OU Alumni Association and SIGALO in different positions. She co-published an article with Kevin Drees, OSU Engineering Librarian. Dona recently completed the inaugural Successful Supervisor Series Program for OSU in Tulsa. She is listed in “Who’s who in American Women”.

  • Nicole Sump-Crethar

Oklahoma State University – Edmon Low Library

I am a Digital Services Librarian at Oklahoma State University. I chaired the Digital Services Interest Group for 2012 in OK-ACRL and participate in several ACRL committees including serving as co-chair for the Technology in University Libraries Committee for the University Libraries Section. I recently began the doctoral program in Educational Technology at Oklahoma State.

  • Elizabeth (Beth) Jones

Oklahoma City University – Dulaney-Browne Library Serials/Government Documents/Systems Librarian

Beth has been an active member of OK-ACRL since 2006 and is currently the group’s treasurer. She has also served as board member and was a founding member of PASIG and a current member of COIL. She earned both her bachelors and MLIS from OU and is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Science from UNT.

  • Clair E. Powers

Phillips Theological Seminary – Phillips Theological Seminary Library Instruction and E-Resources Librarian

I have been the Instruction & Electronic Resources Librarian at Phillips Theological Seminary for seven years. I am a member of ALA, ACRL, OLA and ATLA (American Theological Libraries Association. I have previously served as a board member of OK-ACRL and am active in COIL (Community of Oklahoma Instruction Librarians). I would look forward to serving as Treasurer.

Oklahoma State University – Edmon Low Library Head, Digital Initiatives

I have worked for OSU since 1990, first at the Tulsa Campus and now in Stillwater. I supervise Digital Library Services, the Library web editor, remote access to Library e-resource subscriptions, our proxy server, and coordinate the institutional repository, e-Archive. I oversee a wide variety of digital projects for the Library, including graphical, audio/visual, and textual collections.

  • April Schweikhard

University of Oklahoma-Tulsa – Schusterman Library Medical Librarian

April Schweikhard is a Medical Librarian at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa where she provides reference and instruction serves for the OU-Tulsa campus and manages the library’s Arts and Information Digital Gallery. April graduated with her MLIS degree from the University of Oklahoma and has served as OK-ACRL Secretary and member of the OK-ACRL Web Subcommittee in 2012.

University of Central Oklahoma – Chambers Library Reference & Instruction Librarian

Is Reference & Instruction Librarian at the UCO since spring of this year, when I also completed my MLIS at the University of Oklahoma. During my time at OU I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Fine Arts and Architecture Libraries. On June 16 I was married, and now live in Oklahoma City with my wife.

Langston University – G. Lamar Harrison Library Head of Instruction

I have worked here for 14 years in a variety of positions including Head of Access Services, Coordinator of Technical Services and Head of Special Collections. I received my MLS from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY and worked in public libraries in New Jersey until I moved to Oklahoma with my family in 1995.

  • Katie King

Southern Nazarene University – SNU Library Library Director

In addition to being the Library Director, Katie teaches information literacy and is the project manager for the SNU Community Garden. Her passions include engaging and innovating within the changing worlds of academic librarianship and higher education. She also loves spending time with her husband and dog.

  • Paul Stenis

Oklahoma City University – Dulaney-Browne Library Special Projects and Reference Librarian

Paul supports the English, Humanities, and Modern Languages departments at OCU. This year he served as web administrator for COIL and presented twice at the summer COIL workshop. He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife Olivia and his son Henry.
